NEET UG 2026 is worth 720 marks across 180 MCQs: Physics 45 questions (180 marks), Chemistry 45 questions (180 marks), and Biology — Botany 45 + Zoology 45 = 90 questions (360 marks). The marking scheme is +4 for a correct answer, −1 for a wrong answer, and 0 for unattempted. Duration is 180 minutes, in offline OMR-sheet mode. For the 2026 re-exam, NTA confirmed one dropped Physics question and one question with two correct options.
Use the formula: Total Score = (Correct Answers × 4) − (Incorrect Answers × 1). Unattempted questions score 0, and the maximum score is 720. Compare each of your OMR responses against the provisional answer key, count your correct and incorrect answers, and apply the formula. Note that the benefit of the dropped Physics question and the two-correct-options question is added automatically in the Final Answer Key.
