NEET UG 2026 Counselling is the seat-allotment process for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, BSMS and B.Sc. Nursing admissions, conducted only after the result is declared. Counselling happens through multiple parallel processes depending on the type of seat and quota.

NEET UG 2026 Counselling Rounds
Round Process
Round 1 Registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and admission/fee payment.
Round 2 Fresh/upgrade registration for unfilled seats; same process repeats.
Mop-Up Round For seats remaining after Round 2 — limited to candidates who registered earlier (AIQ) or as per state rules.
Stray Vacancy Round Final round for any seats still vacant; usually a very short window before the academic session begins.
