NEET UG 2026 Answer Key — Overview
The NEET UG 2026 Answer Key is released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in two stages — a Provisional Answer Key first, followed by objections/challenges from candidates, and then the Final Answer Key. The provisional key is expected on neet.nta.nic.in after the Re-Exam conducted on 21 June 2026, since NTA releases a single combined key only after all candidates (including re-exam candidates) have appeared.

How to Calculate Your Probable Score Using the Answer Key
NEET UG follows a fixed marking scheme: +4 marks for every correct answer, −1 mark for every wrong answer, and 0 marks for unattempted questions. To estimate your score: match each of your OMR responses against the official answer key, multiply correct answers by 4, subtract 1 for every wrong answer, and add the two together. Many students use this self-calculated score to estimate their probable rank using the Marks vs Rank table or the free Rank Predictor tool.
