    NTA declares the result; download your scorecard and note your AIR and category rank.

  2. Choose the right counselling

    AIQ (MCC) for 15% + central institutes, your state authority for 85% state quota, AACCC for AYUSH.

  3. Register & pay fee

    Register on the official counselling portal and pay the registration/security fee.

  4. Choice filling & locking

    Add and order your preferred colleges/courses, then lock choices before the deadline.

  5. Seat allotment

    Seats are allotted by rank, category and choices; a result PDF is published.

  6. Reporting & verification

    Report to the allotted college with original documents and pay the admission fee.

NEET 2026 AIQ (All India Quota) Counselling is expected to begin in August 2026, roughly 2–3 weeks after the result is declared. It is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at mcc.nic.in. The process is: Registration → Fee Payment → Choice Filling → Seat Allotment → Reporting. State Quota counselling is conducted separately by each State Medical Authority, and AYUSH counselling is held at aaccc.gov.in.
