NTPC Mining Posts Eligibility
Educational Qualification:
- A full-time, conventional mining diploma from an accredited school with a minimum of 60% is required for the position of Mining Overman.
- A full-time, regular diploma in production or mechanical engineering with a minimum of 60% from an accredited school is required for the position of mechanical supervisor.
- A full-time, regular Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from an accredited school with at least 60% is required for the position of Electrical Supervisor.
- Career Education Instructor: A minimum of 60% in a diploma program from a central government-approved institution in mechanical, electrical, or mining engineering.
- Junior Mine Surveyor: full-time, regular diplomas with at least a 60% from recognized universities in mining survey, mining engineering, mining, and mine surveying, or civil engineering.

Age Limit:
- The applicant’s maximum age as of the online application deadline is thirty (30) years old.
Selection Process for NTPC Recruitment 2023
- Written Test: A written exam with a maximum score of 100 marks will be administered during the first phase. Multiple-choice questions covering pertinent discipline and topic content will make up the test. The exam has a maximum duration of 120 minutes.
- Test of Skill and Competence: A 100-mark test of skill and competency will be administered in the pertinent field. Candidates in the General/EWS category need to score 40%, while those in the SC/ST/OBC category need to score 30%.
