APPSC Group 1 Eligibility Criteria 2023

Level of Education
- UGC-accredited universities or an equivalent degree are required for District Fire Officers in the A.P. Fire Service. People with any degree will be taken into consideration if B.E. (Fire) applicants are not available.
- In the A.P. Treasury & Accounts Service, an Associate Treasury Officer or Assistant Accounts Officer must hold a minimum of a second-class degree in Commerce, Economics, or Mathematics from a university recognized by the UGC, be a chartered accountant in the UK or India, or be an incorporated accountant (London).
- District Social Welfare Officer in the Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Service: Requires a bachelor’s degree from an Indian university established or incorporated under a Provincial, State, or Central Act
Age Limit
- The APPSC notice for the 2024 Group 1 Jobs Recruitment specifies that the age range for general candidates is 18–42 years, for OBC candidates it is 3 years, and for SC and ST candidates it is 5 years.
