ICSSR Vacancy 2024
The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) has announced that it will be filling 35 positions by 2024. Three positions are available in various departments.
Of the three positions, only the Lower Division Clerk/Research Assistant position (number 02) is available for new hires.
- Thirteen positions for Lower Division Clerks (UR-7, SC-2, OBC-2, ST-1, EWS-1)
- 14 positions for research assistants (UR-8, SC-1, OBC-3, ST-1, EWS-1)
- Eight positions as assistant directors (research) (UR-5, SC-1, and OBC-2)
ICSSR Eligibility Criteria 2024
Qualification for Education:
- Advanced Secondary or Lower Division Clerk Associated
- The recommended minimum typing speed is thirty words per minute.
- Research Assistant Master of Arts degree with at least 50% of the possible points in any social science field.
- A master’s degree in any social science with a high second class from an accredited university, or a degree equivalent, is required for the position of Assistant Director (Research).
- three years minimum of experience at a respectable institution in research administration, teaching, or social science research.
- Being proficient with computers is ideal.

ICSSR Selection Process 2024
